The Angels (Al-Mala'ika)

Discover the world of angels and their missions.

"The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His Books and His messengers."

— Quran, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:285)

🌟 Who are the angels?

Angels are creatures of light created by Allah to serve Him and obey His commands without disobeying. They do not eat, drink or have a gender.

They carry out various missions: bearing the Throne, transmitting revelation, recording our actions, protecting believers, etc.

The best known angels

Jibril (Gabriel)

The angel in charge of revelation. He transmitted the word of Allah to the prophets.

Mikail (Michael)

The angel responsible for rain, vegetation and provisions.

Israfil

The angel who will blow the Trumpet to announce the Day of Judgment.

Malik

The guardian of Hell.

The scribing angels (Kiraman Katibin)

They record all our actions, good and bad.

💡 Important point

Believing in angels is one of the pillars of faith. Even though we do not see them, we firmly believe in their existence and their roles as Allah has described them to us.
